MAINLINE MEDICAL ASSOCIATES
Mainline Medical Associates is a primary care medical practice which was started in Cresson by two physicians in 1982. The practice later added a physical therapy clinic at the Cresson location and opened an Altoona location in 1996. It has expanded to include twelve physicians, four physician assistants and a dietician. Mainline's physicians serve as school physicians for the Altoona Area and Penn Cambria school districts and are the medical directors for the St. Francis University Physician Assistant Program and Valley View Home in Altoona. The Altoona location moved to the Station Medical Center in 2004. The practice provides care to more than 20,000 patients in Blair, Cambria and surrounding counties.
